*Did you know that Dresden Codak comes from Dresden Codex, the book of Mayan astronomy? I happened across the name in Feynman’s Dresden Codex story, the one where he worked in a hotel room for a few days and independently verifed that the various symbols were the cyclical periods of the planets in the sky. I thought it was too similar to be a coincidence and looked it up on the webcomic forums. Yup. (Codak didn’t say why though)
