I have the best job, ever
One thing I really appreciate about my job- besides all the obvious things, like how they value my skills, and I’m not spending my time doing meaningless busywork- is how it’s not a typical job. There’s no boss tapping a watch in the morning telling me I’m five minutes late (or er, half an hour late), no dress code (I own two pairs of pants and five shirts warm enough for cold weather) and on slow days when there’s not much to do, I can surf the internet and no one minds if I update my blog. But most of all, I can use the time to think, reflect and read interesting things. Which is worth everything in the world.
Coming back from work yesterday I saw the crescent moon, clear and distinct in the sky with two planets beside it, forming a sort of triangle. It was pretty awesome.
Edit: see new AI conclusion retro-posted further down the page, and replies to comments. A couple more retro posts coming tomorrow, and then maybe I’ll get to writing about what I was just thinking today Xd. And then… Thanksgiving?
